My hair used to be so damaged and a lot thinner than what it is now. There are a few thing’s I’ve done over the year’s to grow my hair thicker, stronger, and healthier. I will list them below!
- I slowed down with the straightening iron and all other heating tools. My teen year’s consists of me straightening my hair ALL the time on HIGH heat! I was very insecure about my curly hair and thought I looked better with straight hair so using the heat iron and blow dryer often weakened my hair and made it thin. I also lost my curls and had to grow my hair out. I hardly use heating tools these day’s and when I do, I use it on low heat.
- I drink certain thing’s that most people wouldn’t and are disgusted by such as, Blackstrap Molasses, Bone Broth, and a ablespoon of Olive Oil and Coconut Oil a day. To grow your hair thicker and stronger, you have to take your vitamins, and this is how I take mine!
- I not only drink olive oil and coconut oil, but I put it on my hair and rub it into my scalp. I usually drench my hair in olive oil once every 2 weeks and do the “Green House Method” which is to put a plastic bag over your hair while it is damp with the olive oil. This can also help hair growth.
- Also eating many fruits and veggies will help your hair grow out thicker. I am not the healthiest eater in the world but I do eat my veggies as much as I can and notice a difference in my hair, skin, and overall health when I do.
